Beware the Scammers
“There’s no such thing as a free lunch” ; “Money doesn’t grow on trees” ; “A fool and his money are soon parted.” I cannot think of any other cliches to give you as a warning about that scams that are going to be coming our way. Every time the economy slows down the scammers bump up their efforts. The reason is simple, people start to get desperate when the economy slows. In desperation people start to believe things they would normally look at with skepticism. If you see a business opportunity and something just doesn’t seem right go check out the Better Business Bureau or Scam Check Station. Another great way to check out a program is Ebay. Yes, I said Ebay. As it turns out there are tons of people on Ebay offering what has been termed a protest sale. This means the person paid full price for something they found out to be a scam and in order to warn other consumers they are selling it for some ridiculously low price, like $1.50. This way if you are still interested you can buy the information second hand and give it a low cost evaluation.
Personally, I have experienced the first step to real wealth and that is to get out of debt. Once you have gotten rid of all the payments you were making you can put that money toward investments. Once my wife and I got out of debt it was amazing the purchasing and investment power we obtained. We have over $13k in an emergency fund and we are never going back to debt. The only debt we have now is our home. We hope to finish this off in seven years. That means I will have no debt at the age of 37. Later this week I will be reviewing a book that shows you the way to prosperity in real, practical, and honest advice. Stay tuned because this book is awesome.

Joe, I think he will win because he won’t drive past the gas station that is less just because the tanker is there and he squeezes the extra gas out of the nozzle. Tina
