Grandma Can’t Work the Computer
Are there people in your family that are technology challenged but you would love to send e-mail and picture to? HP has finally come up with a simple solution to help those who want to stay updated with the family but just cannot get the hang of computers and the internet. It is called the HP Printing Mailbox with Presto service. It is a simple machine that connects up to three times per day, downloads, and prints email and pictures. The user is given a regular e-mail address where others can send all the things they want to share. The device looks pretty much like a regular printer and takes 8 1/2 X 11 paper. It cost $149.99 for the device and I found it on Ebay for $96.50. The service is $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually for unlimited emails and photos. Now this isn’t exactly cheap but it is a lot less frustrating that trying to teach someone, who doesn’t want to learn, how to check their e-mail. It is also extremely user friendly. It will even send a message when the machine is low on ink. You can check the HP Printing Mailbox out here

The “email machines” are a lot less than a computer! I had one in my poorer days. They are also good for TRAVELING. Mine didn’t have a printer and was about $50 less….
