FREE Stuff!! And Get Rid of Your Junk

Have you ever heard of recycling? Well there is a whole culture on the internet that believes whole heartedly in doing just that. No I don't mean those tree hugging hippies who collect cans and give up their SUVs for Yugos. I am talking about Freecyclers!

Freecycle is an amazing concept where people post items they have available as well as needs they may have. Others in the group will decide they may need an item that is posted or can fill the need of someone else. The two members of the local group will, contact each other, meet, and give the stuff away. That's right FREE!! They even have large events once a month where lots of people bring perfectly good stuff and give it away. If you have kids and you haven't tried this you are missing the boat. In my experiences with the group in my area these are truly generous and thoughtful people who are looking to help each other out. Go find a group in your area and LET THE FREECYCLING BEGIN!
