Prices of Glasses Going Up?

You never know what will start a trend.  I am hearing from different corners of the media world that Sarah Palin, the nominee for Vice President on the Republican Ticket, has women thinking about designer frames because of the stylish look she presents with her glasses.  

A great way to avoid these kind of trend increases in price is to stock up on non perishable items when they are at rock bottom prices, buy last years model, wait for the clearance sale, and just be smart about your purchases in general.  People who get swept up in the trends tend to have less money than those who decide that the trends aren't worth it.
