Ready for Winter? It’s Coming

Now is the time to start getting your house ready for winter.  Putting in weather stripping on doors and windows, insulating your attic, etc.  All these are great ways to save energy.  With the price of oil up homes in the northeast are sure to see a rise in energy costs.  What most people do not know is that Natural Gas (though not as steep) has gone up in price.  For this reason we are probably looking at about a 15% increase in natural gas bills.  The good news is there have been significant finds or natural gas and Alaska is building a new pipeline to the lower 48.  This increase in supply will lower rates long term.
