Restaurant Deals Abound

When the economy slow it gets cheaper to eat out.  Now this only applies to mid level restaurants.  This means that fast food chains are not getting cheaper (how could they) or that the very high end restaurants are either.  One trades on low price already and the other on quality of food and prestige.

Where you are going to find a deal is the sit down places that tend to cost from ten to fifteen dollars per entree.  A great example is The Olive Garden.  I love The Olive Garden for eating out, but my favorite deal is the never ending pasta bowl.  For eleven dollars (including tip) you get as much pasta as you want, a salad, and bread sticks.  That is an amazing deal.  The real kicker is if you ask for one last helping of pasta and then get it in a to go box with a bread stick.  Now you have created two meal for eleven dollars.  This is the amount that many people spend eating at a fast food restaunt.

You will also start to see coupons in the newspaper trying to drive people into the mid-level restaurants so keep watch for great deals.

Right Now Restaurant.com is cutting 80% off their already discounted gift certificates using the code "EIGHTY".  so you can get a $25 gift certificate for only two dollars.  That is an amazing price, but you have to hurry because the deal ends tomorrow at noon.
