Starting July 1st Starbucks will finally break down and offer free Wi-Fi to its customers. Previously you had to purchase a gift card and jump through hoops to get free Wi-Fi from the kings of over priced coffee, but with McDonald's putting on the full court press to steal their business Starbucks has been forced to follow suite.
With most McDonald's and all Starbucks and Panera Bread now offering free Wi-Fi this should give us about 20,000 locations to pick up our internet for free.

I read this but thought it applied to some 6K stores....not all.
My issue is that I just don't like the coffee.
It will apply to all corporate run stores. If the store you frequent is an affiliate store (ex. the Starbucks at Universal Studios Orland) then it will be a crap shoot. This is somewhere in the range of 6700 stores.
