Turns out that market forces work everywhere.  The cost for someone to purchase stollen credit card information has dropped as low as 40 cents per number.  Bank account info goes for only $10 and a persons full identity (SS#, credit card #, name, address, and DOB) can go as low as $2 a piece.

All this came from the Symantec Internet Security Threat Report.  Symantec gathers info from the 120 million computers that are running its antivirus and internet security software.  They release the report twice a year and you can check out the most recent and past reports at the Symantec site
