Seriously, the flip cloth diaper system is so easy. Not really more difficult than disposable except the washing part. If my stash were larger I could go longer without washing. And they now have disposable inserts for when you need them. I usuallty get two or three changes with each diaper cover because often only urine gets on the diaper. I have NEVER had a blowout with my cloth diapers making it easier on dressing my baby. Also you get less diaper rash(as long as you change soon enough after the diaper gets dirty. There is now also a liner for solids after the baby begins on food. The liners are biodegradeable, you just lift it out and throw the solids in the toilet and flush. So no need to rinse off the diaper before throwing it in the pail. We got some used diapers before we had our baby and its easiest to ease into it. It can seem a little daunting at first. But as I'm a stay-at-home mother it really contributes to our budget. So I highly recommend this system. I also have bumgenius, all-in-one. They are good but because of how they are designed you need a large stash as you can't reuse the diaper between changes. If its your first child I do recommend easing into them and starting with disposable as the first days home are daunting enough as it is.
