Cashback shopping has saved my family thousands of dollars.
When I came across Rebaid and their promise to pay up to 100% rebate, I was skeptical that they could live up to the hype. The Rebaid review details everything you need to know about their rebates and how they work.
How Does Rebaid Work?
With most rebate websites, you click on their link, make a purchase and get a small percentage back, usually 1% to 5%. These sites work by giving you a portion of the money they make as an affiliate marketer.
Rebaid is entirely different in its approach to offering rebates.
Rebaid is designed so that you get massive rebates on specific items that are available for sale from Amazon. The items are specific because the individuals and businesses selling the items are paying Rebaid to present them to the Rebaid users.
So instead of you getting less than 10% cashback, you can earn anywhere between 25% and 100% cashback on your purchase.
Why Do Sellers Pay Them?
This leads to the question, “Why are sellers paying Rebaid?” The lies in that Amazon has a way of ranking products when people search.
The more times an item is purchased, the number of times it gets clicked on, and the number of reviews all play a role in how high an item appears on the search results.
So these sellers are paying you a large rebate to get their product higher in the search rankings, and thus, making a lot more money on all the people searching on Amazon.
It boils down to being another form of advertising with the benefit of creating potential repeat customers and new customers from the Amazon marketplace.
Is Rebaid Legit?
Yes, Rebaid is a legitimate cashback rebate website. While they run on a totally different model than sites like TopCashBack or Rakuten, they do deliver on their promise to pay.
While there are not a ton of reviews, the ones I could find and through personal experience they do payout. So you can feel good about this being a site that will pay you, even if it takes a while for you to get the check.
Company History
There is not a lot of information on the history of Rebaid, but that could be because they are a relatively new company. Their LLC filings show that they incorporated in May of 2019.
The company is based in Albuquerque, NM, and claim to have experience as an Amazon seller. This means they have the first-hand experience with selling in the Amazon Marketplace, not just general SEO or internet marketing experience.
As the company grows, I expect we will get more information about their operations, but this is a significant amount for a company as young as Rebaid.
Alternatives
I have yet to see any other rebate programs that are taking the same approach as Rebaid. A few of the top more traditional cashback sites include:
- Get Upside – Probably the best place for getting rebates on your gas purchases, GetUpside is a top option across the entire United States.
- Mr. Rebates – One of the top cashback rebate sites, MrRebates is known for good cashback rewards and for having one of the best referral programs of any of the rebate sites.
- Receipt Pal – Best known for getting you rebates on groceries, ReceiptPal allows you to get rebates on any receipt that you can scan into their app.
Pros
- High rebate amounts.
- Easy to use interface.
- Interesting products
- Generous referral program
Cons
- A limited number of products
- A limited number of rebates for each product.
- Rebate takes a while to process.
Rebaid Review Final Thoughts
I have to admit that Rebaid is one of the most interesting cashback rebate sites that I have had the chance to review.
With rebates as high as 100%, it is hard to argue that they are not offering some fantastic deals. While the number of products they offer from the Amazon marketplace is relatively low, they do offer some variety.
For me, Rebaid is a way to get a few items that I would normally buy anyway for a very low price or as a way to get gifts for people that are much more expensive than I could usually afford.
If I were an Amazon seller, Rebaid looks like a great way to help boost Amazon sales so that I get a more prominent position when people are searching for a product.
