Digital Reflection Panel offers United State citizens with a yearly income of $75 000 or more the opportunity to earn money. This is done by connecting the company’s meter to your router. The company then monitors how you use the internet.

You might wonder whether or not this is safe, and whether or not it’s worthwhile. In this review, we’ll look into those two questions.

How Does Digital Reflection Panel Work?

The company monitors how you use the internet at home. They do this by providing a meter for you. You keep it connected, answer the survey questions once a month, and they pay you.

The company also plants a tree in your name when you sign up, so it’s good for the environment.

For using the meter and completing the surveys, you earn rewards. You can request a payout when the reward level reaches $50.

Here are some of the rewards that you can earn:

  • Installing the meter gets you $25
  • If you install it within four days of getting it, you get $25
  • If you use it for the first two months, you earn $60
  • From then on, you get $10 for keeping it active
  • The first time you update the software, you get $25
  • You can then potentially earn another $5 monthly
  • Overall, that’s about $200 for the first year

Your additional income is dependent on filling in the surveys.

Is Digital Reflection Panel Legit?

This does seem like you found a way to make free money and a little too good to be true. They’re providing you the equipment and paying what looks like a lot of money in the first year. After that, you’re looking at earning $10 to $15 a month or more if you complete a lot of surveys.

The reason that the company can do this is that they’re using the information gathered as research. This enables them to share internet usage stats and marketing data for companies who are interested.

You’re selling your internet usage information. You won’t receive offers from the companies it’s being sold to, as your details are never disclosed.

So, yes, it is legit. But do be aware that your movements online are being tracked. The company will collect information on what sites you visit. It doesn’t collect data on login details and payment details.

All data collected is fully encrypted so that it won’t be accessible to outside hackers.

How do I get paid?

The payment threshold here is quite high at $50. That’s going to be easy to reach in the first year thanks to the bonuses. Some users have reported getting $50 a month, but we’d bank on between $10 and $15 to be on the safe side.

You get paid for having the device installed. You’ll also be asked to do some short surveys every month. The more surveys you sign up for, the more you can expect to earn. That said, the rewards awarded for surveys are not that high.

Though, the surveys are pretty short, so won’t take you long. Personally, compared to the standard survey sites, this offers a much easier way to earn money.

To get paid, you need to register with the company online or give them a call. They will then send you the device, and that’s about it.

You can opt to get paid in one of three ways:

  • Through PayPal
  • By gift card
  • By donating the money to charity

For the company to make any payments, you must have reached the payment threshold.

Company History

This company is part of comScore, Inc. ComScore is a firm that specializes in internet research. It started in 1999. It has established itself as one of the leading web research companies in the United States. The company is well-established and is a reputable one.

The company has come under fire in the past for what users see as violations to their privacy. In its early days, it was linked to a company that allegedly installed the comScore software illegally.

There were also teething issues initially. The company initially routed the users through proxy servers. This process was done to monitor performance online. The criticism at the time, though, was that this method reduced internet speed.

In the last few years, though, the company has kept its nose clean.

We have to mention here that some panel members have noted that customer service is not excellent with the company. But the company sends payment when requested. It’s more the equipment provided that might cause issues.

If the equipment breaks down and the customer service line cannot talk you through the troubleshooting, the company may opt to cancel the deal. This problem could be disappointing, especially if you’ve been a long-term panelist.

Alternatives

Whil Digital Reflection Panel gives you a good way to earn some side income, it isn’t going to fill up your time or your bank account. These three alternatives give you more options for earning:

  • Survey Club – With big earning if you qualify for a focus group, SurveyClub is a great option for paid surveys and more.
  • NiceQuest -With a large selection of prizes to earn, NiceQuest is a user friendly option among the paid survey sites.
  • Myiyo – One of the easiest to use platforms, Myiyo allows you to earn quickly and easily.

Pros

  • Hardly any work on your part
  • Bonuses up user’s rewards initially
  • Simple to sign up
  • Opting out is simple – disconnect the device

Cons

  • Privacy concerns
  • High payment threshold
  • Standard earnings per month are not high
  • You’re selling your data
  • The company won’t usually provide replacement meters
  • Not available outside of the United States

Digital Reflection Panel Review Final Thoughts

With this one, we’re on the fence. There’s no question that it’s a simple way to make money. What we’re not so sure about is allowing a company to track all our internet activity. That said, big companies like Google and Amazon do that every time you go online.

Still, if you’re concerned about privacy issues, you may not be so happy to hand over this information.
