How Does Unique Rewards Work?

Unique Rewards functions like any other rewards website in that you work in your own time, performing particular actions to get a cash reward.

unique rewards reviewThe site offers a multitude of activities, such as engaging with specific websites, filling out surveys, reading advertisement emails, clicking on different ads, shopping through the website and partner websites, and more.

The website has quite an old layout, but signing up is relatively simple, provided that you are from either the United States, the United Kingdom, or from Canada. Other countries are not eligible to receive rewards as of now. Once you sign-up, you will be presented with different tasks that you can do to earn money. Each job has different requirements, and the payout is varied.

For each task you complete, your account will be credited automatically within twelve hours to thirty days. Because of this significant variance in time, it is always a good idea to keep personal track of your completed tasks so that you can contact the support team if you don’t receive credit.

You also need to be mindful of the fact that different tasks have different requirements. While some may be as simple as reading an email, others might require long-term engagement with a brand or website.

Unique Rewards also boasts a few ways of earning extra money. They automatically upgrade you to a Gold membership once you reach $20 in credit, and they claim that Gold members receive higher commissions.

They also have what seems to be a very lucrative (for the user) referral program. The first task each referral completes will earn you $1. Once any referral reaches $20 in credit, you will make $5. And finally, you will be credited with ten percent of your referral’s earnings for some specific tasks.

Be careful not to spam referral links, though, as that is against the terms and conditions and might get you disqualified from the rewards program. More importantly, you wouldn’t want to push it on friends by spamming them with obscure GPT links.

Is UniqueRewards Legit?

Although the website has quite an obsolete aesthetic, it checks a lot of boxes when it comes to legitimacy. They have comprehensive terms and conditions; their contact information is easy to find, and they have an almost exhaustive list of FAQs and their answers.

Now, looking at the reviews and opinions on the web, it seems that many have successfully received payment from Unique Rewards. Still, some people report that they had trouble cashing out.

The website also never asks for any money from the end-user, which would’ve been a major red flag. Instead, the site is entirely free to join and, in the worst case, the only thing you risk losing is a few minutes of your time.

Ultimately, the money you will make on Unique Rewards won’t be a steady full-time income, so there isn’t much need to worry.

How Do I Get Paid?

Unique Rewards users may choose to make money through PayPal or by check. Either is a convenient method of payment. But you need to be a resident of the United States, the United Kingdom, or Canada, to get paid.

They also allow you to get free gift cards instead of a cash payment. These can usually be received through email and redeemed online or in store.

This is because, according to their list of FAQs, they may choose to send the first payment through a check to ensure that you are complying with their Terms and Conditions.

Payments can only be requested if you have $20 or more worth of credit in your account. This is one limitation of the website. But they send out payments every Monday like clockwork.

While the payout is fairly high, Unique rewards is one of the best surveys that pay cash sites online.

Company History

Unique Rewards is a company based in the United Kingdom. According to their website, they have been in the business since 2003.

There is no reason to doubt the fact that they’ve had a presence on the internet for a long time. Their website’s old UI, combined with the listing of ICQ and Yahoo chat as contact options is a testament to the company’s longevity.

Alternatives

  • Survey Voices – An aggregator of paid survey sites, SurveyVoices allows its users to find many survey sites in one place.
  • MySoapBox – Able to work with anyone worldwide, MySoapBox gives any user the ability to earn.
  • Opinion Square – With a survey targetting system, OpinionSquare brings you more surveys that you qualify for.

Pros

  • Free to use
  • Massive variety of tasks and activities
  • Comprehensive FAQ
  • Lucrative referral program
  • Video tutorials on website use

Cons

  • The website has a dated look
  • Only users from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada are eligible for offers
  • Earnings are more referral-based than task-based
  • Some users have reported issues receiving payments
  • The website has an unhelpful About page

Unique Rewards Review Final Thoughts

Unique Rewards excels in that it offers a large variety of tasks and offers that you can complete to earn rewards.

It is also extremely user-friendly due to the great FAQ and the video tutorials. It falls short in that it is limited to the residents of only three countries, and the earnings are more referral-based than task-based.

In a nutshell, it seems like a great way of making a little free money while killing a little time. Substantive sums of money cannot be made unless one gets a lot of active referrals. I don’t think that annoying one’s friends with links to UniqueRewards is such a good idea.
